Posidon tire son nom de la Posidonia Oceanica, une espèce d’herbe marine méditerranéenne qui contribue grandement à la transparence des eaux bleues de la Méditerranée et qui joue un rôle essentiel dans l’écosystème sous-marin. Les courants et les frottements sur le fond marin des feuilles de la Posidonia forment de petites boules de fibres qui sont souvent rejetées sur les plages, de la taille des boules de notre mobile. Là est notre inspiration…

It all started with a passion for hanging mobiles, Judit Benach started to create them for her own pleasure, first for her home, then for some friends. Little by little, this led to the creation of SOLITO MOBILES.
Judit handcrafts her mobiles in Mallorca, Spain, influenced by the light of this Mediterranean island that she loves more than anything else, but also by the artistic heritage of the great multidisciplinary artists of the 20th century such as Alexander Calder, Joan Miró and his dominant colours, Malevich and his unprecedented geometry or the inventive design of Bruno Munari.
